Procurement Specialist- Logistics & Distribution

This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver functional strategic strategies for categories, specifically Distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing category strategies and standardised processes to drive regional leverage, create value, and deliver opportunities across the APAC region.

What you'll do:

As a Procurement Specialist in Logistics & Distribution, your role will be multifaceted. You will be tasked with implementing supply chain strategies across the region, conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities, managing relationships with key suppliers/vendors, project management of distribution strategy, negotiating contracts to optimise costs and quality, as well as monitoring and reporting on KPIs related to distribution activities. Your ability to foster partnerships and drive continuous improvement will be crucial in this role.


  • Implement Supply Chain strategies across the region including goal setting and KPI’s
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Distribution sourcing landscape
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers/vendors, fostering partnerships, new business opportunities and driving continuous improvement
  • Project management and implementation of Distribution strategy
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers/vendors, optimizing costs and quality
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to Distribution activities


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Procurement Specialist - Logistics & Distribution role brings a wealth of experience in supply chain or distribution sourcing roles. You have honed your supplier performance and relationship management skills over time. Your strong negotiation skills are complemented by your commercial aptitude. You are an excellent analyst who can communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Your effective stakeholder management skills make you a valuable team player.


  • 5+ years’ experience in a supply chain or distribution sourcing role
  • Extensive supplier performance and relationship management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial aptitude
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Effective stakeholder management
