Robert Walters is working with a well known, family owned beauty company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Sydney's CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire supply chain function in Australia and New Zealand, including planning, transportation, warehousing, budgeting, and process improvement activities.

Robert Walters is working with a well known, family owned beauty company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Sydney's CBD. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a global strategy and performance, in line with their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire supply chain function in Australia and New Zealand, including planning, transportation, warehousing, budgeting, and process improvement activities. This strategic role steers the distribution flow from the central warehouse to stores across Australia and New Zealand, optimising inventory levels while ensuring excellent service levels.


What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the local supply chain strategy. You will lead the supply and demand functions, ensuring smooth operations that meet business needs. Your responsibilities will also include managing stock equations, coordinating product registration, and establishing an engaged team. You will also be tasked with producing a monthly supply chain KPIs dashboard to ensure continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.

  • Define and execute local supply chain strategy in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Operations
  • Produce and present monthly supply chain KPIs dashboard
  • Lead and manage supply and demand functions
  • Ensure effective running of local S&OP process in line with Group requirements
  • Responsible for procurement planning and data integrity
  • Manage stock equations (Retail/POP) and anticipate stock outs
  • Manage relationships with all supply chain third party providers
  • Coordinate product registration in Australia and New Zealand
  • Establish an engaged and high performing Supply Chain team


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Supply Chain Manager position brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of Supply Chain management. You have significant experience managing multi-site inventory/supply networks, including management of 3PL providers. Your well-developed financial skills enable you to develop, manage and optimise budgets effectively. You have a proven track record in conceptualising and delivering successful logistics solutions, as well as developing strategies to improve service level, planning and operational performance of the supply chain. Your excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills will be key in building successful business relationships.

  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain – warehousing/distribution centre operations, logistics, demand/supply planning, forecasting and inventory management
  • Supply Chain experience within the beauty, self-care or similar industry
  • Team leadership experience is essential
  • Significant experience managing multi-site inventory/supply networks, including management of 3PL providers
  • Well-developed financial skills for developing, managing and optimising budgets
  • Proven track record in conceptualising and delivering successful logistics solutions
  • Experience developing strategies to improve service level, planning and operational performance of the supply chain
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
