Our client is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Analyst to join their dynamic team. This critical role will see you managing inventory levels, working closely with the finance team, and identifying opportunities to improve overall efficiency. Based in Craigieburn, this opportunity offers the chance to work within an exciting automotive manufacturing environment, where your skills and experience will directly impact the success of the business.

What you'll do:

As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's inventory levels. You will work closely with the finance team to manage and maintain the inventory provisioning policy. Your responsibilities will also include managing a perpetual cycle count program, processing necessary inventory adjustments, resolving receipt errors, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your ability to effectively manage budgets and use ERP systems will be crucial in this role.

  • Process inventory adjustments as required.
  • Resolve and process receipt errors and inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve overall efficiency and optimize inventory.
  • Manage inventory levels to budget and provide explanations on variance to plan.
  • Work with Finance team to manage and maintain inventory provisioning policy for the company.
  • Manage perpetual cycle count program including reconciling variances and obtaining approvals to process adjustments.

The ideal candidate for this Inventory Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in supply chain management within the automotive manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in delivering effective inventory management, supply chain, and logistics solutions. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment sets you apart from others. You are adept at using ERP systems for inventory management and possess advanced written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in use of ERP systems to manage inventory.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • upply chain experience in the automotive manufacturing or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material, Planning & Logistics or an Engineering discipline.
  • An advanced level of written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in delivery of inventory management, supply chain and logistics solutions.
