Project Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage Indigenous businesses and social enterprises to integrate into our procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement officers and other stakeholders across the university to promote Indigenous procurement initiatives.
  • Source and onboard new suppliers across various categories including stationery, scientific equipment, furniture, and more.
  • Work independently and take initiative without needing to seek permission constantly.
  • Organise and manage campus events, demonstrations, and tradeshows to showcase Indigenous suppliers.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project delivery, procurement and governance.
  • Familiarity working with Indigenous suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A self-starter attitude.
