What you'll do:
As our Procurement Officer, you will be instrumental in understanding the company's vision, purpose, strategic and stakeholder considerations. You will be tasked with delivering top-notch service to both internal and external customers while leading the charge in continuous improvement. Your role will involve engaging with others, supporting them, motivating them, and nurturing their capabilities. You will also ensure that all audit and other reporting obligations are met swiftly. Your responsibilities will encompass establishing purchase orders that meet specifications, preparing procurement documentation to bolster the sourcing process, maintaining supplier performance management programs, developing innovative contract solutions, and administering straightforward contracts.

* Ensure understanding of the company's vision, purpose, strategic and stakeholder considerations
* Deliver timely, high-quality service to internal and external customers
* Take the lead in continuous improvement and provide exceptional customer service
* Engage, support, motivate and develop capability and potential in others
* Ensure all audit and other reporting and regulatory obligation requirements are dealt with promptly
* Establish purchase orders for equipment, plant or system spares and/or services that meet specifications
* Prepare procurement documentation to support the sourcing process
* Support the maintenance of Supplier Performance Management (SPM) and Supplier Relationship Management Program (SRM)
* Support the development of innovative and alternative contract solutions for all regulated, non-regulated projects
* Administer straightforward contracts to ensure accuracy of pricing, scope variations, updates to terms and conditions


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Procurement Officer role will bring a wealth of relevant corporate and personal computing skills, including knowledge and experience with contemporary procurement and contract management systems. You will possess high-level oral and written communication skills, enabling you to inform, influence, resolve conflict, and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders. Your understanding of Commercial Policies and Procedures, as well as Commercial Terms and Conditions, will be crucial in this role. A good business sense, trustworthiness, dedication, creativity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities that you will bring to our team. Additionally, your knowledge of Work Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures will be highly valued.

* Relevant corporate and personal computing skills including knowledge and experience with contemporary procurement and contract management systems
* High level oral and written communication skills required to inform, influence, resolve conflict and negotiate with customers, suppliers, team leaders and managers
* Knowledge of Commercial Policies and Procedures
