This role plays a crucial part in optimising value for money from contracts with vendors/third parties while ensuring alignment with their business needs. What you'll do:

As a Procurement & Contracts Officer, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's business. You will be responsible for providing a customer-focused contract management service, championing effective and efficient management of contracts, and supporting various functions with the operational relationship with vendors. Your ability to review and manage supplier compliance certificates within a systems framework will be essential. Additionally, you will support tender administration as directed and perform various contract management duties.

  • Provide a customer-focused contract management service.
  • Champion effective and efficient management of contracts in a way that is accountable and ensures value for money.
  • Support functions with the operational relationship with vendors where required.
  • Work with key contract managers to establish and manage vendor relationship governance, ensuring compliance with the Procurement and Contract.
  • Review and manage supplier compliance certificates within a systems framework.
  • Support tender administration as directed.
  • Perform contract management duties including administrative tasks such as invoicing and scheduling vendor management meetings.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Procurement & Contracts Officer position is someone who is passionate about getting into the procurement field. You should have intermediate skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel along with strong planning, organisation and time management skills. Your excellent attention to detail coupled with your proactive mindset will set you apart. Your ability to perform data entry accurately is essential. Prior experience with the Tech One CiAnywhere Platform or other Procurement & contracts and supplier management platform would be desirable.

  • Contract management experience.
  • Intermediate skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to perform data entry and update documents to a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining positive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity or prior experience with the Tech One CiAnywhere Platform or other Procurement & contracts and supplier management platform desirable.
  • Relevant knowledge of procurement and contract negotiation desirable.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships and influence others.
