For our Federal Government Clients, we are seeking dedicated Procurement and ICT Procurement Officers with relevant/transferable skills and experience in the areas of procurement, ICT, and vendor/contracts management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation and new ways of working are highly valued.

What you'll do:

As a Procurement and/or Contracts Officer, your role will be pivotal in providing effective procurement and contract management support. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of various documentation with a keen eye for detail. Your ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a technical environment will be crucial in delivering quality outcomes. Furthermore, you will play a key role in supporting and promoting a customer-focused, respectful, and supportive workplace culture.

  • Provide effective and timely procurement and/or contract management support
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation with attention to detail
  • Assist with process, documentation, and publication of approaches to market
  • Draft responses to questions from vendors during the response period by liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Draft work orders and other contract variations using primarily templated contract documents under whole-of-government panels
  • Support and promote a customer-focused, respectful, and supportive workplace culture


What you will bring:

  • The ideal candidate for the Procurement and/or Contracts Officer position brings demonstrated experience leading services in a changing environment. You possess operational and professional procurement/contract management skills that allow you to excel both independently and as part of a team. Your effective negotiation and communication skills enable you to present complex information to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering services in a changing environment
  • Experience working in a procurement and/or contract management function or related field
  • Understanding of financial management within an ICT environment
  • Operational and professional procurement/contract management skills
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a technical environment
