This role is pivotal in supporting the growth of the business, focusing on process and procedure improvements on site with technicians and equipment installations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Project Manager to join a leading organisation in vehicle service industry. This role is pivotal in supporting the growth of the business, focusing on process and procedure improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the total performance of projects with installations, ensuring budgeted installation cost efficiency is achieved or exceeded. This position offers an excellent platform to showcase your exceptional communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and leadership qualities.


What you'll do:

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful projects to clients while maintaining superior customer service. You will manage all aspects of installations, from reloads to new-to-industry requirements, ensuring all technical aspects are understood, checked, and signed off. Your role will also involve coordinating site assessments, pre-delivery checklists, and site handover forms. You will be expected to maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws. Additionally, you will provide SAP support to various teams within the organisation.

  • Deliver successful projects with exceptional communication skills
  • Oversee day-to-day project/installation operations
  • Lead and mentor direct reports providing staff development coaching and feedback
  • Manage all aspects of installations from reloads to New to Industry (NTI)
  • Coordinate site assessments, pre-delivery checklists and site handover forms
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws
  • Responsible for overall installations budget per project
  • Provide SAP support to customer service, installation resources and the billing team
  • 30% travel required


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Project Manager role brings a wealth of experience in project management along with technical knowledge that enables them to develop improved methods for fulfilling end-to-end responsibilities. You should have an understanding of all aspects of a high capital equipment installation business. Exceptional relationship management skills are essential for this role as you'll be liaising with key stakeholders at various levels. Proficiency in MS Office products is required along with extensive knowledge and experience in project management with leadership experience as well as P&L responsibility.

  • Minimum 5 years related experience in project management
  • Experience using SAP is highly desired
  • Technical knowledge and ability to develop improved methods for fulfilling end-to-end responsibilities
  • Understanding all aspects of a high capital equipment installation business
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in project management with leadership experience as well as P&L responsibility
