Process Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Analyst to join a large-scale enterprise transformation program within a leading education organisation.
This role sits within a multi-year SAP implementation supporting the centralisation and standardisation of Finance and Payroll processes across 300+ sites. The focus is on end-to-end process design, SAP alignment and integration into enterprise systems.
You will play a critical role in mapping current-state processes, defining future-state models aligned to SAP best practice and ensuring processes are scalable, compliant and fit for a complex environment.
Working closely with SAP functional consultants, Finance and Payroll SMEs, integration teams and business stakeholders, you will bridge business requirements and system capability to deliver structured, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping across Finance and Payroll functions.

Analyse and redesign end-to-end processes aligned to SAP best practice.

Identify process gaps between legacy systems and SAP configuration.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to validate process design against system capability.

Work with Finance and Payroll SMEs to ensure operational and compliance requirements are met.

Support integration design across upstream and downstream systems.

Document business requirements, functional specifications and process artefacts.

Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and governance forums.

Support testing phases including SIT and UAT from a process validation perspective.
About You

Proven experience as a Process Analyst or Senior Business Analyst within ERP or SAP transformation programs.

Strong end-to-end process mapping capability (AS-IS / TO-BE, gap analysis, process optimisation).

Experience working on SAP Finance and/or Payroll implementations.

Solid understanding of Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, month-end, controls) and/or Payroll processes (awards, compliance, pay cycles, reporting).

Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured process documentation.

Experience working in multi-entity or federated environments highly regarded.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, functional and technical teams.

Comfortable operating within governance-heavy, structured delivery programs.
