Business Analyst - HCM

What you'll do:
As a Senior Business Analyst Human Capital Management, you will immerse yourself in understanding how people-related processes operate within a large-scale educational setting. Your days will be filled with engaging stakeholders from various backgrounds—translating their needs into actionable system enhancements that drive efficiency and compliance. You will play an integral role in facilitating workshops, mapping out current processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing Human Capital Management processes, systems, and data flows to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance.
- Gather detailed business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments, ensuring all perspectives are considered and accurately documented.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technology specifications using user stories and functional documentation suitable for agile sprint cycles.
- Facilitate workshops, conduct one-on-one interviews, perform process mapping exercises, and develop user stories to capture both functional and non-functional requirements effectively.
What you bring:
To excel as a Senior Business Analyst Human Capital Management in this environment, you will bring extensive experience navigating complex enterprise settings—ideally within education or similarly regulated sectors. Your background should include hands-on involvement with HCM modules where you have demonstrated your ability to gather nuanced requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.
- Deep understanding of business processes related to HCM functions such as payroll, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, or learning & development.
- Exceptional documentation skills with an emphasis on developing clear business process maps and functional specifications tailored for diverse audiences.
- Advanced analytical abilities enabling you to dissect complex problems and propose practical solutions that enhance accuracy and compliance.
- Experience working with leading HCM software or ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, ADP) is highly desirable for this position.
