What you'll do:

As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will immerse yourself in the heart of technology operations where your analytical acumen will directly influence how digital services perform for millions of users. Your day-to-day will involve deep dives into operational data using advanced Atlassian tools, going far beyond simple reporting, to uncover patterns that inform smarter decisions around incident response, problem resolution, and change implementation. By collaborating with senior stakeholders across engineering and service reliability functions, you will help shape strategies that enhance system resilience while supporting ongoing process improvement efforts. Your expertise in prompt engineering with AI tools will be crucial as you validate outputs and embed intelligent automation into daily workflows. Success in this role means not only delivering clear insights but also fostering an environment where rapid iteration is balanced by rigorous attention to safety, ensuring every recommendation is both innovative and dependable.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering directors, the head of service reliability, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Extract, interpret, and analyse large volumes of operational data from multiple sources including Atlassian Jira and Confluence to inform better decision-making processes.
  • Support incident, problem, and change management activities by providing timely analysis that helps resolve issues efficiently and prevents recurrence.
  • Drive process optimisation initiatives by identifying inefficiencies within IT service management workflows and recommending practical enhancements.
  • Utilise prompt engineering techniques with AI tools such as Claude Code or Gemini to validate outputs, avoid hallucinations, and build robust AI capabilities within the team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on leveraging Atlassian ecosystem data for reporting, insight generation, and workflow enhancement beyond basic dashboarding.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand business context and ensure that analytical outputs are relevant, actionable, and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Contribute to the evolution of service reliability practices by iterating quickly on new ideas while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and compliance standards.
  • Assist program teams in uplifting processes related to ITSM without direct responsibility for programme delivery but ensuring alignment with best practices.

  • Strong understanding of how business processes intersect with technology operations to drive measurable improvements in service reliability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly across technical and non-technical audiences alike.
