PMO Analyst

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced PMO Analyst to join a large-scale regulatory remediation program within a leading Australian bank. This program forms part of a broader regulatory commitment and enforceable undertaking and is focused on strengthening how sensitive customer situations are managed, including hardship, bereavement, collections and complaints.
The program is now entering a critical phase with a newly established leadership team and significant investment to stabilise and accelerate delivery. The PMO Analyst will play a key role in supporting program governance, reporting and delivery coordination across multiple work streams, helping to bring structure, visibility and control to a complex, enterprise-wide initiative.
The program consists of several key streams including Bereavement, Deceased Estates, Hardship, Collections, Complaints Management, Customer Event Management and Customer Remediation, all contributing to a high-profile transformation running through to 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PMO capability across a complex regulatory remediation program within retail banking
- Coordinate governance, reporting and delivery activities across multiple program work streams
- Consolidate RAID logs, status reports and delivery updates into a single program-level view
- Track interdependencies, milestones and critical paths across streams
- Support SteerCo, governance forums and regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain consistency in PMO standards, templates and reporting cadence
- Provide oversight across risks, issues, dependencies and delivery progress
- Support program financials, resourcing and forecasting activities
- Work closely with stream leads, project managers and senior stakeholders to enable effective delivery
About You
- Proven experience operating as a PMO Analyst within large-scale, multi-stream programs
- Background in banking or financial services, ideally within regulatory or remediation environments
- Strong understanding of governance, reporting, risk and issue management
- Experience consolidating multiple work streams into a clear program-level view
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting program uplift or recovery environments will be highly regarded
