Finance Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager (Finance) will lead the finance workstream within a large-scale ERP transformation aimed at modernising core finance capabilities and uplifting digital foundations. This role requires a confident delivery leader who excels in complexity and values work that makes a meaningful difference across schools.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of the Finance workstream within a major ERP transformation
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and resource planning
• Drive structured governance including decision-making and steering forums
• Engage senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and business readiness
• Oversee design, build, testing, data migration and deployment activities
• Ensure integration with enterprise systems and alignment to architectural, data and security standards
• Support change, communication and training initiatives to maximise user adoption
• Continuously identify delivery improvements for quality outcomes

What you will have done

• Successfully delivered large-scale finance transformation projects
• Worked with SAP S/4HANA in complex environments
• Led cross-functional teams and managed vendor partners
• Operated within multi-stakeholder organisations, ideally education or public sector
• Managed budgets, commercial contracts, risks, issues and dependencies
• Demonstrated strong communication, influence and executive engagement skills
• Held relevant tertiary qualifications and project delivery certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile etc.)
