Our client, a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality conveyor components, is seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth with existing Tier 1 mining accounts. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional and flexible environment, where you will be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering cost-effective solutions and added value to clients. You will have the chance to utilise your technical skills within the mining and materials handling industry, while also developing strong relationships with key clients.

What you'll do:
As a Key Account Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving new business outcomes and developing key clients. You will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and growing relationships with all levels of personnel within your client organisations. Your ability to recognise, develop, and close sales opportunities based on client requirements will be crucial. You will ensure prompt quotations, technical recommendations, and support are provided while meeting annual sales targets. Regular visits to client operations will be part of your routine as you provide support, feedback, and develop an in-depth understanding of their operations. Your ultimate goal will be to provide solutions that lead to continuous improvement.

• Maintain, develop and grow key relationships with all levels of personnel within client organisations.
• Recognise, develop and close sales opportunities based on client requirements and expectations.
• Ensure prompt quotations, technical recommendations and support are provided.
• Meet annual sales targets for the conveyor components range.
• Manage and develop specific key clients.
• Undertake regular visits to client operations and provide support and feedback.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of client operations to provide both solutions and continuous improvement.
• Implement exclusive client supply and fixed price agreements wherever possible.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager position brings a technical or mechanical background within the mining and materials handling industry. Your enthusiastic service attitude coupled with honesty and integrity sets you apart. You possess effective communication skills at all levels with a commitment to quality teamwork. Your ability to take initiative, work autonomously, build strong client relationships, and achieve results is commendable. A proven track record in sales preferably within the conveyor components field is desirable.

• Technical or mechanical background within the mining and materials handling industry.
• Enthusiastic service attitude with a passion for exceeding client expectations.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Effective communication skills at all levels with a commitment to quality teamwork.
• Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, build strong client relationships, and achieve results.
• Demonstrated success in sales preferably within conveyor components field.
