What you'll do:

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this newly established media sales division. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around developing strategies for growth, engaging with high-profile clients across the advertising sector, and identifying lucrative opportunities for both immediate wins and long-term success.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan designed to successfully launch and expand the in-house media sales division, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Drive significant revenue growth by proactively selling advertising space across more than 350 digital displays located throughout Australia, leveraging your industry knowledge and contacts.
  • Identify new business development opportunities by researching market trends, understanding client needs, and proposing innovative partnership solutions.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Sales Manager in this role, you will bring not only deep expertise in advertising or media sales but also an impressive history of cultivating meaningful industry relationships.

  • A minimum of five years’ proven experience in advertising or media sales with demonstrable achievements in revenue generation through strategic initiatives.
  • A well-established network of contacts within the advertising or media industry that can be leveraged for immediate business development opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to negotiate effectively with clients at all levels while building lasting professional relationships.
  • Experience managing or mentoring small teams is highly desirable as you will be responsible for recruiting and leading direct reports as the division grows.
