As the Group Sales Director, your role will be to optimize team performance, improve the sales process, and communicate their vision and values. You will report to the CEO and collaborate with the Customer Experience Manager and CFO/COO. Your contributions will be integral to achieving key goals and targets within 24 months and beyond.

1. Leadership and Team Management:
● Cultivate a high-performance culture among the sales and strategy teams,
aligning them with the company's visionary goals.
● Mentor, guide, & lead three direct reports, Managers of Mortgage Advice, Property
Strategy, and Property Acquisitions, fostering their growth and dedication to the company's
vision. While leading them to proactive coach team members to high performance
● Collaborate with senior management, including the Customer Experience
Manager and CFO/COO, to ensure the cross-functional teams work collectively to
achieve our clients vision.
● Provide Daily sales leadership and coaching on the floor.
● Collaborate with HR on employee onboarding training and development and
● Take ownership of hiring, performance management, and, when necessary, team
● Ensure team compliance with industry regulations and standards.
2. Sales and Revenue Generation:
● Utilising Hubspot Workflow, Sequences & Knowledge Base. Design, document,
implement, and coach sales processes that drive high performance, ensuring
alignment with the company's vision to become the most trusted and
highest-rated advisory service.
● Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's vision to
become the most trusted and highest-rated advisory service in Australia.
● Design, implement, and coach detailed sales plans and manage KPI outcomes,
driving the team to high-performance outcomes. For each team member
● Drive sales outcomes in alignment with the Profit and Loss (P/L) statement &
budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
● Identify innovative approaches to drive revenue growth while maintaining the
highest standards of service quality and customer trust.
● Working with the Customer Experience Manager, foster strong client
relationships to ensure that the services provided contribute to the creation of
netwealth for clients.
3. Market Analysis and Strategy:
● Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, lending and property
strategies, utilising insights to create strategies in line with our clients vision.
● Analyse competitor strategies and craft unique value propositions that solidify our clients
position as the most recognised advisory service in Australia. With a laser focus on
becoming number 1.
● Using your industry experience and market analysis, work directly with the CEO to
bring to market new and innovative products and services that grow the net
wealth of clients and increase market share.
4. Client Relationship Management:
● Work closely with the Customer Experience Manager to ensure that every client
interaction reflects the company's commitment to being the most trusted and
highest-rated advisory service.
● Using your proven experience. Work closely with the executive team to develop a
customer journey map that executes on the group's strategic pillars of "One Team,
One Experience, One Journey", ensuring a seamless and consistent client
experience through each division, lending, property strategy and property
● Resolve escalated client issues promptly, coaching and empowering staff along
the way, ensuring that the resolution aligns with the company's vision of becoming
Australia's most trusted, highest-rated advisory service.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
● Establish KPIs that reflect the company's vision and regularly assess the team's
performance against these indicators, with a particular focus on proactive daily
management of the sales pipeline.
● Provide regular reports to senior management, including the CFO/COO, detailing
the progress made towards achieving the company's vision and monthly
dashboard reporting on team and individual performance
6. Compliance and Regulation:
● Ensure that the sales and strategy teams strictly adhere to all regulatory standards
and ethical practices, contributing to the company's reputation as the most
trusted advisory service.
7. Budget Management:
● Develop and manage the department's budget in a way that supports the
company's vision and contributes to the creation of net wealth for clients.
Skills and Experience:
● CRM Expertise: Previous experience working with CRM automated workflow and
sales process systems like Hubspot, enabling efficient client relationship
management and data-driven decision-making.
● Leadership & Growth: Demonstrated leadership experience in property
investment or mortgage advisory, with a proven track record of driving growth and
achieving targets set by Directors/Management.
● Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of property investment, mortgage
advisory, and the property acquisition processes, coupled with the ability to align
these processes with the company's vision and goals.
● Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to develop and
execute effective sales and market strategies.
● Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry regulations and ethical
standards, ensuring legal and ethical operations.
● Effective Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and
interpersonal skills to build client relationships and enhance the company's
● Results-Driven: Focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, along with
innovative thinking and commitment to customer-centric principles.
● Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and
market trend analysis.
● Team Development: Experience in coaching and leading sales teams, with a track
record of achieving high-performance outcomes.
● Education & Certification: a bachelor's degree in a related field; an MBA or
relevant professional certifications are a plus, indicating a commitment to ongoing
