Senior Business Development Manager
A senior business development role leading Western Australia for a growing bank with a strong broker-led model. You will drive growth across residential non-conforming and specialist lending, building deep broker and aggregator relationships while strengthening WA market presence. Acting as a trusted partner, you’ll provide commercial insight, product expertise, and hands-on support. Suited to a driven, relationship-focused BDM who thrives in an autonomous, performance-led environment.
What you’ll be doing
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will own the WA market, building and sustaining profitable broker relationships while delivering consistent growth.

Lead business development across WA for residential non-conforming and specialist lending products

Build, onboard, and grow strong relationships with brokers, aggregators, and key referral partners

Maintain a strong on-the-ground presence through a focused visiting and engagement strategy

Proactively manage a sales pipeline, following opportunities through to completion

Provide exceptional service and support to brokers on residential specialist and commercial loan enquiries

Educate brokers on product features, policy, and opportunities to drive their business growth

Act as the WA “eyes and ears,” feeding back market intelligence, product insights, and policy opportunities

Work collaboratively with internal credit, operations, and leadership teams to deliver outcomes
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a commercially minded business development professional with deep experience in specialist lending and strong broker networks.

Proven experience in non-conforming / specialist lending business development

Established relationships with aggregators and broker groups in the WA market

Commercial mortgage lending experience highly regarded

Strong knowledge of consumer lending policies and relevant legislation

Demonstrated ability to onboard new broker groups and retain long-term relationships

Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills

Track record of developing and executing growth strategies

Results-driven, with experience consistently meeting or exceeding targets

Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working autonomously

Full, current driver’s licence
