Operating from South Australia but serving every state across the country, this company is ready to support the needs of electrical wholesalers and contractors nationwide.

About the role

Located on the eastern city fringe this is a newly created role reporting directly to the Commercial Director. The role will be pivotal in driving improvements in service levels, operational efficiency, and profitability.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee and streamline daily operations within the commercial department.
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all customer contracts are managed effectively, meeting key deliverables on time.
  • Coordinate and execute pricing strategies and rebate programs to optimise financial outcomes.
  • Monitor company expenses and propose strategies to maximise resource utilisation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive process optimisation to improve overall efficiency of commercial operations.

Skills and background

  • Prior experience in the electrical wholesale industry is an advantage, although similar experience in other trade-related businesses will be considered.
  • Familiarity with product pricing, rebate structures, and expense management will set you apart from other candidates.
  • Your ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines will be essential for success in this role.
  • You are adept at using digital tools such as MS Outlook, ERP software, CRM systems, and collaborative project management platforms.
  • Your Solution-focused mindset enables you to handle complex challenges and execute initiatives from start to finish.
  • Lastly, your ability to work effectively within a team, influence peers, and maintain strong relationships with external partners will be highly valued.
