The Senior Sales Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of sales and business development (both directly and through solution partners), including: * Lead Generation * Business Plan Development * Customer Engagement * Presentation of solution The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Speech Recognition, Telecommunications or Contact Centre solutions.
About the Role
As the Senior Sales Specialist, you will be a seasoned sales professional who has had direct responsibility for closing deals in excess of $1m.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meeting sales quotas
- Development of current and new accounts
- Establish and manage relationships
- Develop strategic solutions for business improvement and problem solving for customers
- Work with solution partners to fulfil sales
- Set planning objectives
- Ensure effective and accurate customer records, account plans, forecasts and revenue reports are produced in a timely manner
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Speech Recognition, Telecommunication or Contact Centre solutions.
Other requirements include:
- Strong relationships with major accounts, ideally across the Financial Services and Government markets
- Proven ability to create strategic plans which satisfy customer needs and business
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong executive relationships across multiple function areas
- Ability to sell complex solutions in the enterprise marketplace
- Confident and professional presentation
- Ability to negotiate complex solutions
- Strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
