Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to spearhead the identification of new business opportunities and attract new clients, particularly in the Project Services and Managed Services offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong business stakeholder relationships while promoting a full range of services.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities and attracting new clients. You will be responsible for managing all designated leads from various sources, planning, managing, and executing campaigns alongside the marketing manager. Your ability to develop business plans and sales strategies will be crucial in ensuring the attainment of sales goals and profitability.

  • Achieve minimum quarterly results against budget as issued by the CEO
  • Develop strong relationships through a proactive approach
  • Manage all designated leads from formal and informal sources through qualification to closure using the CRM system
  • Plan, manage and execute campaigns in conjunction with the marketing manager
  • Develop business plans and sales strategies that ensure attainment of sales goals and profitability
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding performance
  • Promote services to the market in a professional manner and in-line with company standards and requirements
  • Assist in marketing and sales focused generation activities and provide input to the annual marketing plan
  • Collaborate with the CEO in building a sustainable pipeline to achieve individual target


What you bring:

The ideal Business Development Manager will bring a wealth of experience in identifying and delivering direct sales for an ICT services company. They will possess strong consultancy skills with a proven track record of understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis, and resolving problems. Expertise in selling will be crucial in finding prospective customers, working with them to identify needs, influence purchase decisions, and enhance future business opportunities. Knowledge of marketing will be essential in stimulating potential or existing markets for products and services.

  • Proven experience in identifying and delivering direct sales for an ICT services company
  • Strong consultancy skills with the ability to understand client requirements, collect data, deliver analysis, and problem resolution
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills with experience in building long-term strategic relationships
  • Experience in selling, finding prospective customers, working with them to identify needs, influence purchase decisions, and enhance future business opportunities
  • Knowledge of marketing research, analysis, stimulating potential or existing markets for products and services
