Customer Support Specialist

Our client is a well known global leader in the insurance industry is now looking for multiple customer service professionals to join their team during their exciting expansion period. Working within their state-of-the-art office, you will be responsible for providing customer service and support to their valued members.

The Position:

  • Permanent Position
  • Monday - Friday (8am - 6pm rotating roster)
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office p/w)
  • No corporate experience required
  • Melbourne CBD office

About the position:
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will actively review and update members information regarding their existing and new insurance coverage. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to customers via inbound and outbound calls as well as email avenues.


Duties:

  • Provide timely and quality customer service by assisting with customer queries and potential concerns to improve service and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct administration tasks such as booking appointments and sending collateral.
  • Accurately maintain customer contacts and records in line with the company’s procedures.
  • Upkeep a high level of knowledge regarding insurance products.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Previous experience in a contact centre within superannuation, insurance, or financial services is desirable.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • No corporate experience is required
