Outbound Customer Service Officer

Robert Walters have partnered with a national, government-owned, not-for-profit organisation that provides 24/7 health information, advice and referral for all Australians. They are currently seeking an Outbound Customer Service Officer to join their team in Sydney on a 6 week temporary contract.

This role will be based on-site at the organisation's offices in Haymarket 3 days per week, and is only suitable to immediately available candidates.

What you'll do:

As an Outbound Customer Service Officer, your primary responsibility will be maintaining and updating service information in the organisation's database. You will be making outbound calls to services, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately captured.

  • Complete outbound calls to services to maintain and update information in the NHSD.
  • Update the database with the corrected details obtained from services.
  • Update and maintain relevant spreadsheets as required.
  • Meet daily campaign call volumes.
  • Support the completion and success of outbound campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support enquiries and requests.
  • Respond promptly to customer and stakeholder inquiries, requests, or issues.


What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or data entry.
  • Experience in a Medical or Healthcare environment is highly desired
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Excellent eye for detail and a passion for quality.
  • Mid level communication skills including both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
