This is a great opportunity to work for a large Insurance company in North Sydney as an Associate Underwriter. This role requires excellent customer service and attention to detail with the ability to be empathetic to customers. The company has a great culture and there is the prospect for extensive career growth. Hours of work will vary between 8am- 8pm Monday – Friday with flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to guarantee that the customer feels comfortable sharing personal information
• Build rapport and develop a solid relationship with customers
• Complete insurance application over the phone ensuring that all details are taken correctly
• Delve into customers response to make sure they have appropriately answered the questions
• Schedule appointments and manage your own calendar
• Liaise with financial adviser's to organise and schedule appointments
• Assist the principle underwriters with problems on the insurance applications

Key Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience is ideal
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Medical or insurance background is preferable
• Ability to be sensitive and empathetic to customers
• Self driven and quick learner
• Must be available to work between 8am- 8pm Monday – Friday
