A03 Information Support Officer

Our client is seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy individual to join their growing Safer Technologies team. This fulfilling role supports corporate business units, school leaders, teachers, students and families in the safer selection and use of digital products and services. This a contract until July 2026.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct risk assessments of third-party online services to ensure compliance with departmental standards and national framework criteria.
  • Prepare outcome reports of risk assessments conducted for management review.
  • Monitor support queues and inboxes, prioritise assigned tasks, and provide progress reports to both the team and management.
  • Contribute to the resolution of support requests by responding to enquiries around use of online services.
  • Maintain accurate records of user interactions and solutions in ServiceNow.
  • Communicate technical information in a user-friendly manner to individuals with varying levels of technical proficiency.

What you bring:

  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with conducting risk assessments
  • Knowledge of IT concepts such as cloud technologies
  • Understanding of privacy regulations and best practices
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle high-volume work
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication
  • Experience with ServiceNow is desirable
