Principle responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:


The Role involves managing the Queensland Law Reporter Publication from start to finish.

  • To accurately enter data on Xero Accounting System.
  • To monitor Online Portal Functions, both front end and back-end functions and assist customers.
  • To answer straight forward inquiries related to subscription in a professional manner.
  • To prepare the daily preparation of banking relating to subscription payments.
  • To accurately receipt all cash sales including sales of Queensland Report Parts and Bound Volumes
  • Proof Formatting - Accurately proof formatting and details of all advertisements.
  • Construct Law Reporter adding advertising material and editorial material.
  • Answer telephone calls – Answer straight forward questions relating to advertisements and subscription prices.
  • Balance cash sales.
  • Enter in Petty Cash for all stamps, prepaid envelopes etc and file receipts in a voucher file.
  • Messages and deliveries including: taking banking to bank, collecting mail from the Post Office and deliveries as required.
  • Help out with odd duties around the office when needed.
