Our client is seeking a highly organised and dependable Project Support Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative project that will significantly impact the lives of Queenslanders. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, where growth and development are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal and external enquiries or requests for the Project Director, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Handle day-to-day diary management for the Project Director.
  • Arrange team meetings and handle meeting papers, including input and preparation of documents for distribution.
  • Establish and maintain systems and processes within the project.
  • Support the project with various administrative tasks, ensuring public sector standards of governance are met.
  • Take responsibility for minor HR and procurement activities.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on behalf of the Project Director.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in diary management and meeting arrangement.
  • Experience in minor HR and procurement activities would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
