Administration Assistant / Receptionist

Robert Walters has partnered with a boutique consulting practice to find their next super star administration assistant on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for day-to-day administration tasks, ensuring effective communication and delivering excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This position will be fully on site in the company's beautiful Sydney CBD offices, and is only able to consider Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents due to the likely nature of the role being made permanent.


What you'll do:

As an Administration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business unit's operations. Your excellent customer service skills will ensure that all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently. Additionally, your strong organisational skills will enable you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, contributing to the overall efficiency of the business unit.

  • Carry out administration duties as part of a professional team
  • Assist in the smooth running of the business unit by carrying out day-to-day administration tasks
  • Perform duties with great customer service and effective communication
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered promptly and redirected if necessary
  • Welcome visitors, direct them to meeting room and announce to staff as required
  • Monitor staff movements in and out of the office
  • Prepare and mail all outgoing mail and packages before the daily postal services cut off times


What you bring:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or administration assistant in a corporate environment is essential
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proven time management skills with ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in computer and technology use
  • Experience in building and influencing relationships
