An award-winning boutique property law firm is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Leasing Officer to join their dynamic team based in Sydney CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to work on predominately landlord-side leasing for major national retail clients. What you'll do:

As a Leasing Officer, your role will be pivotal in supporting the firm's major national retail clients on predominately landlord-side leasing. You will be responsible for reviewing leases and related dealings, liaising with various stakeholders, attending to registration requirements, and handling associated administrative tasks. Your excellent attention to detail, strong initiative and professional attitude will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

  • Review and ensure leases and related dealings are in registrable form, including proper execution and necessary documentation received
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors and other external parties
  • Attend to registration, ensuring all legal requirements are met and attend to requisitions where required
  • Handle associated administrative tasks including post registration procedures, filing and billing
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail leasing processes in all States
  • Utilise PEXA experience to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of leasing processes


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Leasing Officer position brings a wealth of knowledge about retail leasing processes across all states. With at least two years' experience in a similar role, you're ready to hit the ground running. Your excellent attention to detail, combined with your strong communication skills, make you an asset when liaising with clients and other external parties. Your excellent time management skills allow you to handle multiple responsibilities effectively while maintaining a high standard of work.

  • In-depth knowledge of retail leasing processes across all States
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong initiative and work ethic
