Receptionist and Admin Assistant
A prominent organisation in Adelaide is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join their team commencing immediately. Located in the Western Suburbs, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be the welcoming face and first point of contact for visitors, callers, and colleagues during a busy period.
In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional customer service. From greeting visitors and managing calls to providing administrative support across teams, your ability to multitask and maintain professionalism will be highly valued. You’ll also assist with employee engagement activities and contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm welcome to all visitors and callers, ensuring every interaction reflects the organisation’s values and commitment to excellence.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing enquiries appropriately and tracking them for reporting purposes.
- Manage mail distribution, office supplies, and inventory levels efficiently to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide general administration and project support to senior team members
- Support other service points as needed during peak times or staff absences, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as social events, well-being programs, and other activities that foster a positive workplace environment.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including raising purchase orders and supporting cross-functional teams as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in reception, administrative roles, or customer service positions within highly customer-focused environments.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues across various tasks.
