Data Entry Officer

We are urgently recruiting for five Data Entry Administrators to join a welcoming and supportive team in Kingscliff, with an immediate start available. This temporary position runs until the end of December, with possible extension, making it ideal for those seeking short-term work or looking to gain valuable experience in a collaborative office environment.

What you'll do:

  • Accurately transfer data from one system to another, ensuring all information is entered correctly and efficiently at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy when inputting large volumes of data, double-checking entries for errors or inconsistencies before final submission.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of daily tasks within set deadlines.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines for data management, maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information throughout the process.
  • Respond promptly to requests for data updates or corrections, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
  • Assist with general administrative duties related to data entry, such as filing electronic records or organising digital documents for easy retrieval.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding progress on assigned tasks, raising any issues or concerns in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Contribute positively to the overall team environment by sharing knowledge, offering assistance, and participating in group discussions about process improvements.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail when entering or reviewing large amounts of information across multiple systems.
  • Experience working in an administrative or clerical capacity where accuracy and reliability were essential requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills that enable you to manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to collaborate harmoniously with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  • A dependable approach that ensures tasks are completed on time and according to established procedures without constant supervision.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or similar data entry software tools.
  • Willingness to learn new systems quickly and adapt flexibly as processes evolve over time during your assignment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills that support effective interaction with supervisors and fellow team members.
