This role provides high-level 1:1 support to a Partner within the Workplace Advisory and Disputes team, managing complex diaries, email coordination, travel, and confidential correspondence. You will assist with business development, client engagement, event coordination, and end-to-end file management, ensuring seamless operations. Strong organisation, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Your Role

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a Partner within the Workplace Advisory and Disputes team. You will manage a combination of administrative, client-facing, and business development responsibilities that require strong organisational capability and exceptional attention to detail. Your ability to communicate clearly, prioritise effectively, and build strong working relationships will be essential to ensuring seamless operations across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Partner across business development, client management, and daily administrative operations.

  • Coordinate events and activities with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of client engagements.

  • Prepare proposals, tenders, and submissions with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

  • Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel, and email inboxes while acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication.

  • Oversee end-to-end file management processes, including billing preparation, drafting and editing documents, and handling expenses, invoices, and travel bookings.

What You Bring

To excel in this role, you will bring proven experience in administration within professional services and the confidence to manage complex tasks independently. You will combine advanced technical skills with the ability to communicate professionally, collaborate effectively, and build positive relationships. Your proactive nature, strong attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality service will ensure you thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in administration within professional services; legal sector experience is highly desirable.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce polished, accurate documents under time pressure.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, coupled with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

  • Demonstrated capability in diary management, email triage, expense processing, and document control with a high level of accuracy.
