Team Assistant - Global Financial Services
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Assistant to join a leading global financial services firm specialising in capital markets. This Sydney-based role will support a high-performing, fast-paced team, playing a key part in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative and operational support within a fast-paced corporate environment. You will take ownership of key duties including travel coordination, expense management, event support, and presentation preparation, while working closely with senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating complex domestic and international travel arrangements
- Managing and processing expense claims in line with company policies
- Supporting the coordination of client and internal events, including logistics and materials
- Assisting with office coordination tasks and providing ad hoc team support
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and assisting with reporting and data collation
- Managing schedules, records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree (essential)
- 2+ years’ experience as a Team Assistant, Administrator, or in a similar role
- Previous experience within financial services or a corporate environment is highly regarded
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional and proactive approach
- A team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
