Receptionist

Our client is seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a well-known and reputable retail organisation. This role is integral to creating a welcoming environment for internal and external stakeholders while supporting day-to-day operations through efficient front desk management and administrative tasks. This role will be a temporary contract initially with a view of going permanent and is based in Mulgrave.

What you'll do:

As a Receptionist, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of the Melbourne office. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from answering phones and directing calls to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders:

• Answering phones, screening calls and directing them where necessary
• Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
• Managing email correspondence
• Managing office meeting room calendars
• Dealing with order and delivery enquiries
• Providing office support for wider office e.g. ordering stock, maintaining office maintenance
• Assisting with event planning

What you bring:

• Recent Administrative/Reception experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to problem-solve effectively
• Ability to work well within a team but also autonomously
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
