Assistant Company Secretary

You will be joining a highly regarded global investment management firm in Sydney as an assistant company secretary joining their established, fast-paced and high-performing corporate governance team.

About the Role

Working closely with the Company Secretary and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting corporate governance, regulatory compliance and board processes across a multi-entity group.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with company secretarial matters across a group of entities, including ASIC filings and statutory compliance

  • Supporting board and committee processes, including agenda preparation, papers, minutes and action tracking

  • Maintaining statutory registers and corporate records

  • Assisting with governance frameworks, policies and procedures

  • Liaising with external advisers and internal stakeholders

  • Supporting regulatory and compliance obligations relevant to funds management businesses

About you:

  • Experience in a company secretarial or governance role, ideally within financial services, funds management or a regulated environment

  • Sound knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASIC requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Confident communicator with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
