Senior Automation Engineer | Identity Platform | Finance

Our client's Directory Services team manages a large-scale hybrid identity platform and they need an engineer who writes the code that makes it run itself. The identity context can be learned. The automation fundamentals can't. If you're strong in Terraform and Python and you solve problems with code, this role is worth a conversation.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be building and maintaining the automation engines that underpin a global identity platform. That means writing code (Python, PowerShell, Terraform) to automate identity lifecycle workflows, deploying and managing infrastructure as code, and building monitoring and reporting solutions to keep the platform healthy and secure. You'll work across a hybrid environment touching Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping and Google Identity.

What they're looking for:

• Strong hands-on Terraform skills
• Python proficiency, comfortable building real automation logic, not just scripts
• An engineering and developer mindset, you solve problems with code
• Experience in cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
• Exposure to identity or access management concepts is a genuine advantage (Entra ID, AD, JML workflows)
• Monitoring and reporting experience (Sentinel, Splunk, PowerBI, KQL) valued
