Data Governance Manager

We are seeking a Data Management Lead to drive enterprise-level data governance, risk management, and controls enhancement initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and robust monitoring frameworks across the organization. The successful candidate will partner with business and technology teams to strengthen data risk controls, implement governance standards, and support regulatory reform programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance data risk frameworks and control mechanisms across critical data domains.
• Develop and maintain monitoring processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on data risk trends and compliance gaps.
• Partner with technology, risk, and business teams to embed data governance into operational processes.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in data risk management, controls monitoring, and data governance at an enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting data (e.g., financial services regulations, privacy laws).
• Experience in designing and implementing data control frameworks and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of risk and compliance methodologies within financial services or highly regulated industries.
