Senior Data Engineer

Your Role

• Own the end-to-end migration to Azure Databricks, including design, build, optimisation, and delivery.
• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performance data pipelines using Databricks, DBT, Delta Lake, and Azure native services.
• Define engineering standards, coding practices, governance models, and operational frameworks.
• Champion modern data engineering principles across the organisation.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the cloud data platform and engineering frameworks.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years data engineering experience, hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including Spark, PySpark, notebooks, clusters.
• Strong programming skills in Python & SQL
• Strong experience in building cloud-native data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or related services.
• Demonstrated experience developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data migration to lakehouse patterns
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with strong communication, high ownership, adaptability, and a pragmatic mindset
