Principal Product Manager
We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the development of applications for a flagship Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Process Management (BPM) digital platform as part of a major digital transformation program. This is a critical leadership role driving product vision, strategy, and delivery across multiple Agile squads to deliver an end-to-end customer solution.
You will work on a multi-year Digital Modernisation Strategy, shaping innovative solutions that set the benchmark for digital products in government. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on product delivery, and the ability to foster a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Define Product Vision & Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Drive Delivery Excellence: Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to go-live, ensuring compliance with security, accessibility, and data governance standards.
- Lead Agile Teams: Inspire and guide multi-disciplinary squads, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Champion Innovation: Identify opportunities for automation and AI integration to enhance workflows and customer outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships, manage expectations, and advocate for product solutions across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Performance & Benefits Realisation: Monitor product success metrics and ensure delivery of measurable business value.
About You
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in product management and leading complex technical delivery projects.
- CRM/BPM Expertise: Strong background in enterprise platforms and process transformation.
- Innovation Mindset: Experience implementing AI and automation in product workflows.
- Agile Delivery Skills: Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and modern delivery practices.
- Strategic Communicator: Exceptional ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Outcome-Focused: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision.
- Government Experience (Desirable): Familiarity with NSW Government standards or ability to adapt quickly.
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid: Base location at Parramatta Square, with occasional work at Sydney CBD.
