This role sits across Investor Relations and Client Services, supporting an operational transformation program focused on process optimisation, report distribution, capital call automation and workflow improvement. Senior Business Analyst

6-Month Contract | Melbourne | Potential Extension

An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a large, well-regarded funds management organisation supporting an operational transformation program.

This role sits across Investor Relations and Client Services and is focused on optimising and automating operational processes to improve efficiency and free up investor-facing teams to focus on client engagement and business development.

The Program

Phase 1 has recently completed a “lift and shift” of operational activities from Investor Relations into Client Services.

Phase 2 now focuses on optimisation, automation and process improvement across multiple operational workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering across operational and technology initiatives

• Conduct root cause analysis and document current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) processes

• Improve report distribution processes (tax, performance, audit confirmations)

• Optimise capital call, distribution and redemption processes

• Support automation initiatives and potential system implementation

• Work across 6–8 concurrent workstreams

• Partner with Investor Relations, Client Services and Technology stakeholders

• Support solution design, delivery and implementation through to closure

About You

• Proven Senior Business Analyst experience within funds management or asset management

• Strong understanding of capital calls, distributions, redemptions and investor reporting

• Experience delivering operational optimisation and automation programs

• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build trust across business functions

• Comfortable working in a co-sponsored, cross-functional environment

• High attention to detail with strong documentation capability
