Lead Business Analyst

A large, values-driven education organisation is seeking a Business Analyst Lead to play a critical leadership role within a major digital transformation program.

This exciting piece of work is all about the transformation of the front end users of the school's systems - this includes School Operations Management, Curriculum and Teaching Management, Student Support Services, Stakeholder Engagement, Child Safety, and Education Performance.

The Business Analyst Lead will drive the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle across pre-RFP, RFP and post-RFP phases. They will oversee requirements gathering, process analysis, data and integration mapping, and ensure alignment to broader digital transformation objectives and future-state operating models.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of Business Analysts

• Owning the requirements lifecycle (functional and non-functional)

• Driving RFP development and vendor evaluation support

• Managing cross-stream dependencies and risks

• Ensuring alignment across program waves and related initiatives

• Partnering closely with Change & Communications and Procurement

What we are looking for:

• The ideal candidate will bring proven experience leading business analysis within large-scale digital transformation within education, school operations or the public sector.
• LMS, Student systems, faculty / staff systems, student operation enhancements - this experience is highly desirable
• Strong RFP experience, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities are essential

This is a 6-month contingent opportunity suited to a confident BA leader who can combine strategic thinking with structured delivery and team leadership.
