Intune MDM Specialist

A leading public service organisation in Adelaide is seeking a Microsoft Intune MDM Specialist to play a pivotal role in a large scale mobile device rollout project.

Your role:

You will be the subject matter expert for all things Intune MDM, working closely with a supportive project lead and the dedicated Asset Team.

You will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless deployment of Microsoft Intune across approximately 1,000 iOS and Android devices, focusing on technical configuration, application management, and knowledge transfer.

• Be the go to expert for Microsoft Intune MDM during a major mobile device rollout impacting over 1000 users across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring technical excellence at every stage.
• Work alongside a committed project lead and asset management team in Adelaide, contributing your specialist knowledge to create robust device profiles, secure deployments, and effective application distribution.

What you'll do:

As a Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management Specialist based in Adelaide, you will immerse yourself in a transformative project designed to modernise how mobile devices are managed across the organisation. Your primary focus will be on configuring Intune MDM for iOS and Android platforms within a shared tenancy structure. You will take ownership of building secure device profiles, setting up application stores for seamless app distribution, and testing deployment strategies to ensure everything runs smoothly from day one.

• Design and configure Microsoft Intune MDM solutions tailored for both iOS and Android devices within a shared tenancy environment, ensuring compliance with organisational requirements.
• Develop comprehensive device profiles that address security policies, user access controls, and operational needs for a smooth rollout process.
• Test deployment strategies thoroughly to identify potential issues before full-scale implementation, minimising disruption for end users.
• Establish and manage corporate application stores within Intune to facilitate controlled publishing and updating of business-critical applications on enrolled devices.
• Collaborate closely with the project lead and Asset Team to align technical configurations with broader project objectives and timelines.
• Document all technical processes meticulously to support ongoing maintenance and future scalability of the MDM solution.
• Provide structured knowledge transfer sessions to asset staff, empowering them with the skills needed for long-term management of the system.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues as they arise during setup or deployment phases, offering clear solutions that prioritise user experience and data security.
• Advise on best practices for mobile device management in shared tenancy settings, drawing from your extensive hands-on experience.
• Optionally contribute insights into Intune for Windows devices if relevant scenarios arise during the engagement.
