What you'll do:

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based in Perth, you will be instrumental in maintaining robust IT systems that underpin global business operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing both traditional on-premise servers and modern cloud platforms such as Azure. You will work collaboratively with various support teams to resolve technical challenges swiftly while upholding stringent security protocols. By engaging directly with stakeholders at all levels, you will help shape the future direction of IT services within the organisation. Your proactive approach will see you not only addressing immediate issues but also contributing ideas for long-term improvements. Success in this role requires balancing hands-on technical tasks with strategic thinking—ensuring that every aspect of infrastructure management aligns with broader business goals.   • Administer, configure, and manage both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure hardware and software to ensure optimal performance across global operations.
  • Support the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud software solutions while maintaining compliance with organisational network and security standards.
  • Respond promptly to support requests from internal teams, resolving issues efficiently using your extensive experience and technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate closely with security, data, and service desk teams to provide comprehensive support for all infrastructure-related matters.

  • Contribute actively to the development of standards and procedures for infrastructure systems as well as enhancements to IT service catalogues.

To excel as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in this dynamic environment, you will bring proven experience supporting complex IT ecosystems that span both on-premise data centres and cloud platforms. Your deep familiarity with Windows Server administration ensures seamless system operation while your expertise in Azure enables efficient resource management across distributed networks.   • A minimum of three to five years’ hands-on experience administering IT infrastructure within large enterprise environments is essential for success in this role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Windows Server environments including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing Azure services such as identity management, networking, resource allocation, and Entra ID administration is highly valued.
  • Practical experience supporting Exchange Online mail flow policies, permissions management, and distribution groups is necessary.
  • Solid background in maintaining on-premises Active Directory including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), replication processes, DNS, and DHCP is expected.
  • Hands-on expertise configuring devices via Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager covering compliance policies, device enrollment strategies, application deployment methods is important.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities across multiple technology domains coupled with excellent communication skills are vital for effective problem resolution.
  • Proven ability to document processes clearly while collaborating effectively with senior engineers or project teams during infrastructure upgrades or cloud adoption initiatives is desirable.
  • Experience providing ICT support for end user computing devices as well as applications across large-scale environments adds significant value.
  • Progress towards or possession of relevant industry certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft or VMware would be advantageous.
