Secure Network Engineering | L3 & Specialist Roles | Canberra

We are headhunting for three L3/Specialist roles supporting Federal Gov, Aviation, and Defence. These are hybrid, BAU focused roles in "Protected" environments. Whether you are a Cisco DC expert , a Juniper/Automation enthusiast , or a carrier-grade MPLS specialist, I'd love to chat! Active NV1/NV2 required.

The Opportunity:

We are currently headhunting for three distinct, high-impact Network Engineering roles based in Canberra. These are hybrid, BAU operations positions supporting high-profile Federal Government, Aviation, and Defence accounts. If you are looking for a move into a high-security environment with genuine variety and "high-context switching," we have three unique paths available.

Path 1: Cisco DC & F5 Specialist (Global MSP)

  • Focus on Cisco Nexus (Data Centre) and F5 Load Balancing (LTM/GTM).
  • Manage WAN, LAN, and DC Routing and Switching across protected infrastructure.
  • Requires an active, non-lapsed NV1 clearance.

Path 2: Juniper & Automation Specialist (Global MSP)

  • Focus on Juniper Routing and Switching (R/S) and Fortigate firewalls.
  • Opportunity to work with automation technologies (Ansible, Jenkins, and Python).
  • NV1 clearance is preferred, but the client is open to sponsoring a Baseline to NV1 upgrade for the right candidate.

Path 3: Technical Specialist (Secure Ops, Tier 1 Telco)

  • Support Defence operations with a focus on Enterprise LAN/WAN and Satellite gateways.
  • Work with carrier-grade MPLS and BGP based networks providing Layer 2 and 3 services.
  • Requires an active NV1 or NV2 security clearance.
