ICT Team Leader

Our client is looking for a skilled ICT Team Leader to join their IT team on a temporary full-time basis (4-6 weeks, immediate start). In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee IT operations for several Lutheran schools across Australia, managing a small team and ensuring smooth day-to-day technical support. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a dynamic environment while contributing to the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small IT team (1 FTE, 1 PTE), providing guidance and support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laptops and school-specific systems (e.g., TASS, Canvas, Timetabler).
  • Oversee helpdesk services, assisting staff, parents, and teachers with IT queries.
  • Provide occasional direction for event-related technology needs (lighting/sound).
  • Ensure effective organisation and resource management within the IT department.

Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high-quality IT services across multiple schools.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in an ICT leadership role, preferably in an education or school environment.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with expertise in managing laptops and school-specific systems.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Ability to provide direction for event-related technology requirements when needed.

Requirements:

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Immediate availability for a full-time temporary role (4-6 weeks).
