IT Engineer

An established financial services organisation is seeking a driven IT Engineer to strengthen its technology team. This role offers the chance to work in a high-performance environment where innovation, security, and reliability are critical to delivering exceptional business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain core ICT infrastructure and business systems

• Administer and optimise CRM and SQL database environments

• Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity controls

• Monitor and maintain network performance, firewalls, and security protocols

• Provide support for enterprise communication and contact centre platforms

• Contribute to system testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years' experience in an ICT engineering or infrastructure support role

• Solid understanding of CRM platforms and SQL database administration

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, cloud environments (e.g., Azure), and cybersecurity practices

• Good working knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet), and security best practices

• Familiarity with enterprise collaboration and telephony platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams calling features)

• Experience supporting cloud-based contact centre solutions (e.g., Genesys Cloud or similar platforms)

• Exposure to working within structured project environments using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Desirable Skills

• Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Python

• Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress) for internally developed applications

• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams for testing, debugging, and deployment activities
