Network Security Engineer

The Company Our client is a leading Australian based cloud solutions provider. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the specialist Network & Security unit focusing on network support for my client and their customers.

The Role

As a Network & Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in offering support to both our client and their customers, aimed at mitigating risks and guaranteeing that managed networks consistently meet or surpass operational SLAs.

We are seeking a candidate with a solid background in Network & Security, particularly in areas such as firewalls, SD-WAN, Cloud, and Wireless technologies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support in compiling weekly and monthly reports for managed networks as necessary.
• Oversee, upkeep, and enhance network services for both internal systems and those of our client’s customers’.
• There is a significant focus on customer interaction and managing service tickets for incidents, problems, requests and change management.

Key Product Requirements:

• Expertise in Palo Alto/Fortigate Firewalls, CISCO Routing/Switching, Aruba, and Cisco Wireless technologies.
• Proficiency in Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and VMware.
• Experience with F5 LTM/GTM load balancers.
