Network Engineer - Data Centers

We are partnering with a global financial services firm to hire an experienced Network Engineer to join a dynamic infrastructure team supporting mission-critical corporate environments across APAC. This team is responsible for the infrastructure underpinning all trading and non-trading activity, including office networks and a complex international WAN. The environment demands reliability, ultra-low latency, scalability, and operational excellence.

The Role

You will play a key role in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting a highly resilient and scalable infrastructure platform across APAC data centers and international locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end infrastructure deployments in Asia Pacific data centers, including network and security platforms

• Build, manage, and support a complex international LAN/WAN and security environment

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot high-performance data center networks

• Drive research, innovation, and implementation of infrastructure capacity, reliability, scalability, and latency optimizations

• Collaborate closely with developers, researchers, and hardware engineers to deliver stable and scalable platforms

• Automate, monitor, and benchmark network systems and infrastructure components

• Support multi-zone, multi-tier firewall architectures across APAC

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across global network environments

What We’re Looking For

• Over 10 years of experience operating at a senior level in network engineering or architecture, with strong hands-on configuration and troubleshooting expertise

• Demonstrated success delivering and supporting complex enterprise LAN and WAN solutions end-to-end

• Advanced knowledge of leading data center switching and routing platforms, particularly across Arista and Cisco environments

• Solid operational experience with Nokia Service Router platforms (such as 7210, 7250, 7705, 7730, or 7750 series)

• Background in designing and maintaining campus network infrastructures in large-scale enterprise settings

• Extensive experience building and supporting high-availability data center network architectures

• Familiarity with multi-zone, multi-tier security and firewall frameworks within geographically distributed environments

• Proven capability managing large, international WAN deployments across multiple regions

• Working knowledge of Unix system administration

• Experience leveraging automation, monitoring, and performance analysis tools to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency
