Program Manager - Data Governance & IT Uplift

The role requires a senior Program Manager who can bring order, clarity and strategic direction across a set of interconnected workstreams. This includes shaping the program plan, maintaining flow across teams, and ensuring the initiative progresses cohesively rather than as isolated efforts.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced program leader with a strong background in data or digital transformation. Key capabilities include:

• Experience managing large‑scale data, analytics or platform uplift initiatives.
• Strong understanding of how major data investments are sequenced and how benefits are realised.
• Ability to coordinate delivery across governance, engineering, architecture, security, procurement and finance.
• Skilled at simplifying complex program information for senior audiences.
• Experience managing interdependencies, risks and competing priorities across multiple streams.
• Strong financial literacy, including forecasting, investment tracking and assessing sequencing impacts.
• Confident working across early shaping stages through to delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Program Manager will:

• Translate a high‑level roadmap into a structured program plan with clear phases and interdependencies.
• Ensure delivery streams remain aligned to the broader program direction.
• Manage program‑level risks, issues and dependencies and escalate where needed.
• Oversee financial tracking and ensure investment planning remains aligned with program sequencing.
• Support measurement and tracking of expected benefits.
• Produce consolidated reporting for executive and portfolio governance.
• Represent the program in broader portfolio and steering forums.
• Work closely with delivery and domain leads to maintain program coherence and avoid fragmentation.
