What you'll do:

As a Senior Power Platform Developer based in Perth, you will play a central role in shaping the future of digital transformation within the organisation. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools. You will be responsible for designing secure architectures that comply with strict departmental frameworks while maintaining accessibility standards. Your expertise will be called upon to create detailed documentation supporting each stage of development—from initial planning through deployment—ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing across teams. You will also oversee the configuration of SharePoint lists and Azure SQL databases that underpin robust business applications. By conducting regular security assessments and implementing lifecycle management processes across multiple environments, you will guarantee that every solution remains reliable and compliant. • Translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications and comprehensive end-to-end solution architectures by leveraging the full capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation related to software architecture, development processes, and lifecycle management for all solutions delivered.
• Plan, build, test, deploy, and evaluate high-quality automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and related components while managing workflow through Azure DevOps.
• Design, configure, and manage SharePoint lists as well as robust relational database schemas within Azure SQL environments to support scalable business applications.
• Ensure all developed solutions strictly adhere to organisational security policies, data privacy principles, information management standards, accessibility guidelines, and corporate branding requirements.
• Conduct or participate in security assessments by identifying potential risks, implementing necessary treatment action plans, and staying updated on secure development best practices.
• Implement lifecycle management processes for developed solutions across development, testing, and production environments to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Evaluate application performance and usability by identifying issues proactively and making necessary adjustments to optimise outcomes for end-users.

• In-depth knowledge of applying strict security controls within application development alongside practical experience in meeting accessibility standards and adhering to corporate branding guidelines.
• Demonstrated project management skills with proficiency in estimating work effort accurately for project plans while managing timelines effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities paired with strong interpersonal skills enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
