Software Developer

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our clients team on an exciting project aimed at supporting key aspects of their field operations. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and delivering backend components for a cloud-hosted application that supports mobile data entry (online/offline) and secure preconfigured connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to design and develop core backend components.
• Leverage AI tools to assist in code development, validation, and optimization.
• Ensure seamless integration of backend systems with the existing application.
• Provide recommendations on how components work together and plan for future deployments in a Microsoft environment.
• Develop technical documentation using supplied templates to detail all components created.
• Support agile processes, including adaptive planning and iterative development.
• Assist with testing, delivery, and hyper-care activities post-deployment.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, React, Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, GitHub.
• Experience with progressive web applications (PWA), secure coding practices, and database/mobile app development.
• Familiarity with integrating Bluetooth/WiFi-connected devices into mobile applications (desirable).
• Ability to use AI tools effectively for software development tasks.
• Structured approach to system documentation and change control.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A mid-level developer with proven experience in software development.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence design decisions while adhering to coding standards.
• Comfortable working in a small, flexible team environment
• Agile mindset with excellent communication skills for engaging internal stakeholders (e.g., PM, operations personnel).
• The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools to accelerate development and ensure high-quality outcomes
